Executive HR Leadership, Built on 16+ Years at the Table
I am a certified Global Chief People Officer, a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional, and a board-certified professional coach through the International Coaching Federation, with 16+ years of executive HR leadership across the botanical wellness, technology, food and beverage, financial services, manufacturing, and senior living industries. I teach graduate-level HR and employment law, which keeps me current on the compliance landscape every growing company has to navigate.
I have built HR functions from the ground up, led organizations through IPO readiness, and served as a strategic partner to CEOs and founders at the executive table. Earlier in my career I designed performance and compensation systems that drove measurable gains in retention and engagement, and reduced external recruiting costs by $200K in six months through strategic workforce redesign. I currently serve as Chief Human Resources Officer for a Utah-based consumer products company in growth mode, where I lead organizational design, leadership evaluation, and long-range scale strategy as a member of the executive team. I am also a two-time published author, a board member of Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area, and an MLK Jr. Human Rights Commissioner with the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs.
What I Bring to Every Engagement
Strategic workforce planning. Executive compensation design. Talent acquisition and executive hiring. Change management. Total rewards strategy. Leadership development and organizational design. Culture transformation. Succession planning. HR compliance and risk management.
My Approach
I do not believe HR should sit on the sidelines of business strategy. Compensation decisions, culture choices, and compliance gaps are business risks and business opportunities, not paperwork. I have led HR through IPO readiness, mergers, multi-state scale, and organizational redesign, and I bring that same operational discipline and strategic depth to every engagement, scoped to where your company actually is right now.
Why Fractional
Not every growing company needs, or can yet support, a full-time Chief Human Resources Officer. A fractional model gives you the same caliber of executive leadership, embedded in your team, without the overhead of a full-time hire. You get the strategic depth when you need it, scoped to where your company actually is.
Beyond the Work
I serve on the board of Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area and as an MLK Jr. Human Rights Commissioner with the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs. I am a two-time published author and a sought-after speaker on HR leadership and workforce transformation.
